A socio-hydrologist, currently part of one of the CARIAA supported consortia - HIAWARE. Researching in Upper Ganga basin, Uttarakhand, Northern Himalayan region for over 4 yers now. Having worked on hydropower development, environmental flows, and rural water supply and water related livelihoods. Working currently with a team on building knowledge base on vulnerability and adaptation of farm based, tourism, fishing, pastoral livelihoods of people living in mountain and plain in the Upper Ganga basin, Uttarakhand through a socio - economically disaggregated analysis and gendered lens.
