I am a researcher working in adaptation decision-making and social simulation modelling. I implemented the Adaptation Options Explorer (ADX) prototype in which users can compare multiple decision-making methods. I also program in NetLogo - for multi-agent simulation - applied to the study of complex systems. Research domain areas include: decision-making methods, decision networks, sustainability of ecosystems and related livelihoods, environmentally-induced (human) migration, societal resilience and tipping points.
The Adaptation at Altitude Solutions Portal
This article introduces the Adaptation at Altitude Solutions Portal for climate change adaptation (and related areas) in mountain regions, and describes how it has been and will continue to be developed.
