We are the Peruvian environmental fund, specialized in efficiently raising and managing financial resources for the execution of programs and projects that contribute to the conservation of biodiversity and the mitigation and adaptation of climate change. Our purpose is to promote the sustainability of life by connecting humanity with the environment.

Throughout its institutional history, Profonanpe has worked under the highest fiduciary standards, compatible with the requirements of the most important international funding sources. As a result, Profonanpe is the only Peruvian entity accredited by the Adaptation Fund (AF) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF), funds created under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Our work focuses on establishing synergies and partnerships with public and private institutions, as well as international, bilateral, and multilateral organizations, and foundations. We work with mechanisms that ensure the implementation of projects at the fiduciary level, including environmental, social, and gender safeguards.
