Arctic Institute of North America
The Arctic Institute of North America (AINA) is Canada’s first and longest-lived Arctic research institute. Their mandate is to advance the study of the North American and circumpolar Arctic through the natural and social sciences, the arts and humanities and to acquire, preserve and disseminate information on physical, environmental and social conditions in the North.
AINA leads and collaborates on a wide range of Arctic focused projects and initiatives in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities, and is committed to providing innovative educational and training opportunities for K-12, college and university students, adult learners and the general public.
